Recommended: Git on Snow Leopard

PHP developer Chris Shiflett posted some easier-to-follow instructions for compiling Git from source on Snow Leopard.

Git, of course, is the new hotness in version and source control with both command-line and GUI interfaces such as Gitnub, GitX, and SmartGit available.

I use SVN, hosted by Springloops with Versions at the day job, but we’re considering a switch to Git and GitHub.
