		<description>It really depends on what you are comfortable with and what you want to do.  I like MooTools because it feels like JavaScript.  I didn&#039;t have to learn a whole new syntax.

But jQuery is way more popular and has a more robust community. If you are a professional front-end developer, jQuery is good to know because it is a bit more entrenched.

To me, however, jQuery forces you to change how you code where MooTools does not.</description>
