Pssst … Wanna buy a bead?

So what had happened was I walked past a strand of amber resin beads hanging outside of a shop in Essaouira. I was going to keep walking, but my BFF said those magic words that shop owners across Morocco use to get you to drop some dirham: “It’s free to look.”

15 minutes later after some fast talk, haggling, and a cup of tea served Berber style, I walked out with more beads than I wanted to buy, a larger credit card balance than I wanted to have, and the worstest case of Buyer’s Remorse ever. Yeah, I got pwned.

Enameled Berber beads

To help recoup my costs, I’m selling some of the beads. The beads are handcrafted enameled silver beads from the Berber ethnic group who live in Northern Africa.

They’re BIG beads, perfect for a necklace centerpiece. The smaller of the two styles is about 2″ long and 1.5″ wide. The larger beads are almost spherical, roughly 2″ by 1.75″ in diameter.

Interested? I’m selling the smaller beads for $25 each (the one on the left). I’m selling the larger ones for $30 each.

Prices include shipping (if you’re not in ATL) and/or delivery (if you are in ATL).

Interested? Contact me. I accept cash or Paypal (send to tiffany@webinista.com).
