Sharpie makes pens

Sharpie makes pens Sharpie pen point

I’m not crazy about the fine-point plastic nib because I prefer liquid roller-ball and gel types of pens. The Sharpie fine point pen is, however, a good choice for Moleskines. It lives up to its promise of no bleed-through. I loves my Moleskine, but alas, my favorite pens (Bic Z4 Roller 0.7mm and Uniball’s Signo) tend to soak through a bit or smudge on its pages.

Sharpie’s new pen is also permanent on paper, water resistant, and dries quickly. I’m not crazy with the richness of the black ink on Moleskine paper though. It looks more like really dark gray. But it looks good on some other types of paper. YMMV.

About $7 for a pack of 4 at Staples.

  1. I really like the Pilot G-2s, and they don’t bleed through on my Moleskines at all. Plus, being frugal, I like that they take refills.

  2. I say it’s about time, but I am a notorious sharpie addict.
