- Octopus
A love story rendered through a post-modern gay lens, Octopus examines the fallout of one lustful night on four men; including risk, jealousy, a mysterious telegram delivery boy and a ravenous sea monster from the ocean floor.
24 January through 23 February 2008.- Sex Workers’ Art Show
- Two words: Dirty Martini. She’s HOT. It will be good. Lots of burlesque, singing, maybe even some comedy and poetry. Some advice: Get there early. The last two shows were effin’ packed. At some point, they will need to hold this at a bigger venue or do two nights or something. Friday, 1 February, 2008; Probably $10 admission.
- TRANSactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art
- The High is gettin’ all multi-ethnic on us. YAY! Works by at least a half dozen Latin American and Latino artists will be represented here including Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Enrique Chagoya, Iran do Espírito Santo, and Gabriel Kuri. High Museum of Art, 9 February through 4 May 2008.
