I am the 2007 Judges’ Pick for Best Technology Blog, which came as a Big. Total. Shock.
I didn’t have enough votes to be a finalist in the popular vote, but it looks like the judging panel considered all nominated blogs when picking a winner.
So um, thanks to those who nominated me. And thanks to the judges for digging what I do. It just gives me a renewed sense of purpose and a determination to keep writing about web development, and how people use web tools.

thanks y’all. i feel like i’ve been a crappy as tech blogger lately. so this vote really makes me smile. now i just need to get back to blogging nerdy sh*t.

Yay! I voted for you in this category because you’re one of the few tech writers I’ve encountered who can stick all this nerdery into lay terms so the marginally tech-oriented can understand you. And what I especially like is you don’t just write about this stuff as if everyone knows what you’re talking about, but you provide a little back-story to get those of us who are slow up and running with you. Congratulations! and thanks for writing about all this stuff. I’ve honestly learned a vast amount from you here in the several years that I’ve read you.
