Site additions

Eventually I will get inspired and get around to re-designing this thing. In the meantime, I’m just cluttering up the site wherever possible, in part to make some extra change and in part because I think it’s a sort of useful service.

So, if you’ve been paying attention and actually visiting the site (instead of the RSS feed), you will notice three things:

• A store in the main navigation. It’s an Amazon.com ‘aStore.’ Buy stuff through that store, and I get a cut.
• Text-Link-Ads in the rail Okay, this isn’t really all that useful. But it’s another way to make some extra cash.
• A JobThread job roll. For $10, you can advertise your web job on this site for 60 days. Or buy an ad on the JobThread network and maybe you’ll appear here anyway. JobThread is actually kind of dope in that you can post your own gigs. Not 100% clear about how much you have to pay for that though. I think this falls on the useful end of things, although it’s also a (possible) money-maker.
