My mama taught me a LOT about how to behave in public, and those lessons she taught me have carried me through my entire life. Oh sure, there were some particularly mortifying incidents when I was much younger, but we didn't live in an Internet age then. I guess I have the benefit of being older (and more concerned about social decorum and professional suicide) on my side these days. I don’t self-censor. My mama taught me a LOT about how to behave in public, and those lessons she taught me have carried me through my entire life. Oh sure, there were some particularly mortifying incidents when I was much younger, but we didn’t live in an Internet age then.

I guess I have the benefit of being older (and more concerned about social decorum and professional suicide) on my side these days.
