The only problems are:
- You’d actually have to catch them using an unregistered or inactive and unreported address.
- The sex offender in question would have to use MySpace and Facebook.
- Not all sex offenders are child molesters.
- Not all child molesters are registered sex offenders.
So um, what exactly does this bill do besides making its sponsors look like they’re Protecting Our Children and creating a lot more work for everyone. (Sorry, I just get nervous when politicians start talking about technology because they get it wrong most of the time.)
