Atlanta, GA: Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting
The High Museum celebrates its new Louvre Atlanta exhibit with a Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting. Taste this year’s Beaujolais wines on the third Thursday in November (it’s traditional release date).

Beaujolais Nouveau is picked, fermented and ready to drink after about six weeks. Only gamay grapes from the Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages regions of France are allowed to be used. By law, the grapes must be handpicked. Unlike many wines, Beaujolais Nouveau should be consumed within 6 months, or it gets a little bit nasty.
