A documentary about … sneakers? Yep, it’s all about the culture of hip-hop and sneaker worship. Featuring interviews with Bobbito Garcia, Grandmaster Caz & JDL (Cold Crush Brothers), Rev. Run, DMC & Russell Simmons, Fab 5 Freddy, Bonz Malone, Raekwon, and Damon Dash. Also screening: Retail Mafia, a short film about the icons of streetwear.
Part of the Scion Route film series. Rasta Root spins during the opening reception. Question and answer session with director Thierry Daher and a cocktail reception after the film.
