A WordPress quirk with object and embed
I was about to start ranting and raving about WordPress and how it strips out object and embed and dammit, just how do they expect me to publish shit from YouTube????? Even after a Google search, I just could not find the answer.
But er, then I logged out of my contributor role and logged in as an administrator. Oh.
WordPress, as I found out, won’t let certain roles (like Authors) publish content containing object and embed. Quite smart, IMO. So now you know.
