Migrated stuff: you may notice some weirdness.
You may notice a few things are different on the site and in the feeds.
I have ported my blog to WordPress. I was using a home-grown system that crapped-out when I upgraded from PHP 4 to PHP 5. Since then, I’ve essentially been using phpMyAdmin to publish this blog.
I knew re-building my own publishing system would take one heck of a lot longer than just installing WordPress and migrating my old posts. So that’s what I did. I’ve got most of the features I wanted without any work. What’s more, I can hack WordPress to death, build add-ons, download plug-ins and so forth.
I’m trying to minimize the issues that pop-up with any kind of move: URLs for example. Some default URLs in WordPress are different than the URLs I already had on the site (such as my RSS feeds). I’ll be moving those around in the next couple of days.
A special apology to Bloglines, My Yahoo! and other web-based feed reader users: you will probably see 15 posts that appear brand new, but aren’t..
