Lil’ Romeo vs. Bow Wow … Why?

Okay, I’m really too old to pay attention to Lil’ Romeo’ or Bow Wow. But I happened to come across the video for Romeo’s diss record “U Can’t Shine Like Me” — which is pretty much a rip of “Fresh Azimiz.”

Now I swear Romeo said something about being from the streets? But er uh, didn’t he spend a good part of his childhood in a four bedroom six bath crib in Sugarland, Texas? Maybe that hook should be “You ain’t from the cul-de-sac?” I’m just sayin.’
