Accessibility suit dismissed

U.S. District Judge Patricia A. Seitz dismissed a suit filed against Southwest Airlines that claimed the airline’s web site violated the Americans With Disabilities Act because it was incompatible with screen readers. Seitz wrote: "[T]o fall within the scope of the ADA as presently drafted, a public accommodation must be a physical, concrete structure." A similar suit against American Airlines is pending.
